Blues musician Curtis Salgado headlines a list of talent on the Swanson Amphitheatre stage for the 41st annual Umpqua Valley Wine, Art and Music Festival presented by the Southern Oregon Wine Institute Saturday and Sunday, September 11 and 12 on the Umpqua Community College campus.
Salgado will perform amid a swirl of wine vendors, artists, and shiny custom and classic cars. There will be ample entertainment for children in a children’s play area. A vineyard bike tour, which was a hit in 2009, will leave the festival area at 10 a.m. Saturday (www.cycleumpqua.com).

The course includes a combination of classroom, bike handling skills, and riding on the road. Open to participants 16 years and older who have a basic level of fitness (can ride 30 minutes).
